Something strange is going with Facebook. Especially when you add an comment “SPAM” in someone’s posts on his/her wall. I did this today on my colleague’s wall and then the problem has began.
When I tried reach my home page in Facebook.com by clicking on logo, Facebook informed me that I should log in first before I can explore my home page. I’ve just logged in by filling e-mail and password field (and of course I ticked KEEP ME LOGGED IN box) and then I’ve reached, not known by me before, screen [see screen-shot #1].
It says:
“Keep your account free of spam
It looks like a spammy link posted into your address bar caused unintentional activity on your Facebook account.
Don’t worry, your account is safe and we ended the activity. Continue on for a few quick security tips.”
I’ve clicked CONTINUE button and then another unknown window has appeared [see screen-shot #2]:
“Tips for avoiding spam
To keep your account free of spam, remember:■ Never click on a suspicious link, even if a friend sent it.
■ Never copy and paste text you don’t recognize into your address bar.Example of a suspicious link:
javascript:(a=b=document)…;void(0)”
After CONTINUE there is another screen [see screenshot #3] which tells you “Share security tips with friends”. You can simply skip it by clicking NO THANKS button. Then you can enjoy your profile and wall on Facebook.com but not so long. When you browsing your wall, contacts, messages or navigating on fan pages you can get a warning “Not logged in” [see screen-shot #4 and #5]. And then fun with log in into Facebook begins from the beginning. Sometimes you can see that your correctly pasted from notepad password is incorrect! [see screen-shot #6] Yeah, Facebook, you’re so lame.
So be careful what you write on your friend’s wall. ;-) Maybe is it because Facebook doesn’t like a word “SPAM” but it ain’t an excuse for fragile lame engine.
And remember: big brother is watchin’ you.
UPDATE – 11/05/17 @ 21:40
Or maybe it’s just because of conflict GreaseMonkey’s user script “Unfriend Finder” which was updated few mins ago?

tak, to konflikt z tym skryptem.
Wiesz co Rafi, wypierdzieliłem ten skrypt, bo też mi FB jęczał. I też byłem zdziwiony. Ale jeszcze przed przeczytaniem tej notki – sztuką zaawansowanej dedukcji doszedłem do tego, że to może być to. :D
Tak, potwierdzam, to wina Unfriend Finder i obostrzeń ze strony FB. ;]
Happend to me today, too (18.05.11). I found your website because I wanted to know if anybody else had this problem.
I think you are right: Unfriender is the problem.
I have the following setup: I manly use Google Chrome to browse, but sometimes I switch to Firefox, where I use Greasemonkey + Unfriender. I tested it now: when I login with Firefox, all my sessions (Firefox + Chrome) get terminated and I get the spam warning again at the next login.
Regards,
Claude
Claude: yes, it’s confirmed: http://userscripts.org/topics/73992 – Unfriend Finder caused that messy problem. Greetings.
